Restaurant jobs in Wayne, NJ, what the shifts look like
Two floors, two bars and a pizza oven that does not stop. Front of house works the dining room and the upstairs parties, so a busy night is genuinely busy rather than four tables and a long stare at the door. Tips reflect that.
Kitchen roles run the oven, the fryer and the prep line. The pizza cooks work a real oven with real dough, and if you have never worked one before but you want to, say so on the form. We have taught people the oven from scratch and it is a skill that follows you.
What we look for in restaurant jobs
Show up, stay steady when it gets loud, and be someone the rest of the shift wants next to them. Experience helps and it is not the whole thing. Weekend and evening availability matters more than a long resume, especially in football season when Sundays are the biggest day of the week.
How to apply for restaurant jobs
Fill in the form above, it takes about two minutes, and pick a role even if you would take any of them. If your role is not listed, pick the closest and say so in the last box. Email a resume to info@waynealehouse.com afterwards or bring it in, either is fine.
We are at 611 Ratzer Road in Wayne. Walking in during a quiet afternoon and asking for a manager still works too.
Parking is in the lot, so getting to a shift is not its own problem. Full hours are on the hours page.
What the place is like to work in
The restaurant jobs here are busy, loud on the right nights, and small enough that a manager knows your name in week one. The weekly events give Wednesday through Friday a rhythm rather than a drag, and football season turns Sunday into the best shift of the week if you like a full room.
